​The UpStagers Amateur Dramatics Society was founded in 2004 by a group of enthusiastic theatre lovers who wanted to bring the magic of live performance to their community when the stage at the Upton St Leonards Village Hall was at risk at being lost forever.

Our very first performance was held just a few months later, and ever since, we have been providing top-quality theatre productions to audiences of all ages.

 

The UpStagers Amateur Dramatics Society is a vibrant community of theatre lovers who share a passion for the performing arts. Our inclusive group is always looking for new people to come and join us. Our mission is to provide a platform for actors, writers, and directors of all backgrounds to showcase their skills and talents. Our members will tell you that they love our community spirit, our welcoming atmosphere, and the opportunities to develop their skills and have fun. 

We are a dedicated and passionate group of actors, directors, and crew members, and we take pride in creating productions that are both entertaining and thought-provoking.
